Grants under the Norwegian Journalism scheme, June 2019

The processing of applications for grants of more than NOK 100 000 has been completed for June 2019.  Grants have been awarded to 17 projects under the Norwegian Journalism scheme in this round. For example, LO Media got NOK 250 000 for its debate programme "Out of the comments section", which aims at emphasising ordinary voices in working life.

Paal Frisvold received NOK 150 000 for the website: Europeiskpolitikk.no. Maren Sæbø got NOK 100 000 for journalism on Africa, and Rasmus Andreas Hungnes received a corresponding amount for critical texts about computer games and gaming culture. Morgenbladet received NOK 120 000 for its series of reports "E75. The struggle for democracy, from Vardø to Athens", while Ingerid Salvesen and Heidi Taksdal Skjeseth received NOK 100 000 for the project "Journalism Live" - a journalistic live show.
